REALCHEM investigates the toxicity of transport emissions

Achieving meaningful reductions in transport-related emissions requires not only decreasing overall pollution levels but understanding the specific health effects of diverse pollutants released from transport engines. With the introduction of new fuels and technologies, this understanding becomes ever more vital.

REALCHEM is dedicated to conducting cutting-edge research focused on assessing the toxicity of emissions derived from various fuels and engine types.

By using advanced cell culture models, we will simulate the impact of pollutants on the human respiratory system. The goal of this research is to identify the most harmful components of transport emissions and inform strategies for mitigating their impact.

IEM (the Institute of Experimental Medicine) is at the center of testing and research to achieve goals from above.

REALCHEM intends to fuel the development of fuels and technologies that safeguard both our environment and human health by providing comprehensive insights into the toxicology of transport emissions.
